The exhibition "The Doll - the World within", for the first time in our country, will feature works by leading artists from Israel, Ukraine, Russia, USA, Austria, Italy, Latvia.

All over the world, art dolls have long been recognized as a new and promising type of fine art. In Israel, the art of the doll is less known, and the exhibition "The Doll - the world within" is intended to fill this gap. On it, the Israeli public will see an art doll in all its diversity - from toys to art objects, from articulated dolls and marionettes to complex doll sculptures, from exquisite classical beauties to incredibly touching fantastic characters, from Charlie Chaplin and Frida Kallo to Japanese spirits and grandmother Karlson, from dolls made of porcelain and polymer clay to works made of fabric and wood.

The dolls will be presented in the context of contemporary art - painting, graphics, photography, works of decorative and applied art, which will create an unusual, polyphonic art space filled with unexpected parallels, subtle allusions, deep meaning, and curious dialogues. This will be a very interesting experiment both for the audience and for the artists themselves working in various fields of art. We will be able not only to see various interpretations of the theme of dolls - from childishly touching to deeply philosophical, but also to find unexpected parallels in the plots, stylistics and artistic solutions of masters of different directions.

An art doll is a rare form of modern art, which still retains true skill, real beauty, stylistic diversity and, at the same time, emotional depth and sincerity of feelings. “The Doll - the World within” is an island of joy, where everyone - from a child who has come to the exhibition for the first time to a sophisticated art connoisseur - will get real pleasure.

The creation of an art doll is a very complex process that requires from an artist not only the ability to come up with and implement a distinctive image, but also experience in various fields: sculpture, painting, clothing modeling, jewelry and apprenticeship, etc. Modern puppeteers not only skillfully transform traditional painting and sculptural techniques and techniques in their works, but also vividly reveal various, sometimes quite complex topics.

At the exhibition "The Doll - the World within" the Israeli public will have a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the work of famous artists - participants in the most prestigious exhibitions, members of the Union of Artists of Russia, the Union of Artists of Ukraine, the American Puppeteers Association (NIADA), the Israeli Association of Illustrators, laureates of numerous professional awards Europe and America.
