I invite you to a master class on creating a moth. This is an interior decoration with a secret. A moth and a brooch in one piece.

For work, we need viscose or plush for the body of a moth;

hard felt and colored fabric for the wings;

cardboard, suede, beads, accessories, lace, small face stones or jewelry and a pin for a brooch.

Scissors, needles, threads, two strong magnets! glue moment and good mood.

We cut out a circle from viscose according to the template with an allowance of 1 cm, without an allowance, a circle from cardboard and felt.

From the seamy side, we fix the cardboard and viscose with glue;

On the front side, we cut off a little fur in the place where the face will be glued,

decorate the face with lace and glue it closer to the lower edge of the circle.

with a small circle of felt, fill the groove between the cardboard and viscose for a flat surface on the wrong side;

take a circle of felt. sew on a pin and glue 1 magnet (I have two small ones in the photo)

glue it to the wrong side of the brooch.

Fine suede circle. Cut holes for the pin and glue it onto the felt, hiding the magnets. We embroider in a circle with beads, grabbing viscose and suede. We make a beautiful outline of the brooch.

We stuff the body of the moth at the end we insert the magnet observing the polarity! Attach the brooch-head to the body and check how it holds!

For antennae you need a piece of fabric (I have a flannel) about 10 cm long and 2 cm wide.

The glue momentarily glues the fabric with the wire in the middle, clamping the fringes to each other (on one side).

We sew the antennae from the back, leaving a 1 cm loop (for which the moth is suspended from the wall).

We embroider the breast, make a tightening in the body and tint the body with pastel. We connect the head and body. Magnetism works)

Wings. We lay out the fabrics in this order: felt-colored fabric-felt.

We outline the template of the wings, placing it in a mirror image. we are making our "sandwich". Sewing the wing drawing. Important! You need to mark where the face of colored fabric is!

cut out the wings. From the front, carefully cut off the felt layer between the lines. Opening drawing of colored fabric. Sew the wings to the body.
