Why am I writing articles?

First, it's interesting. My favorite section in the magazine: History of dolls. I am captivated by the events from the life of talented masters, their unique works, creative searches.

Secondly, I would like to share my findings and thoughts. When you begin to delve into a topic that interests you, you find answers to many questions. It often happens that one sentence written by someone turns your world upside down.

It is impossible for one person to know everything in the world. But I am convinced that if a whole team of creative writers work together, and everyone writes several articles, then there will be a big thick encyclopaedia, which will then be useful and interesting to read in order to learn everything in the world. Of course, this is a joke, but if you think about it, I write articles for my own development. After all, if you want to learn something, teach others.

A little bit about yourself

I was born in sunny Moldova and have been living in Moscow for more than fifteen years. I have a higher art and pedagogical education. I am fond of painting, drawing, sculpture, art history. For several years she taught in Chisinau, at the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts, wrote articles for a periodical.

Today I am grateful to the fate that opened for me the world of art dolls, in which I met wonderful people and their beautiful creations. Having plunged into this world, I realized that I could no longer live differently. Now my every day is filled with creativity and amazing discoveries.

What is an art doll for me?

The art of designer dolls attracts me because it combines huge creative possibilities in the field of sculpture and construction, painting and graphics. And it is also a territory of personal freedom, which is not limited by any framework. After all, any, even the most incredible, idea can be translated into reality!

I started showing my works publicly recently, in the spring of 2020.

Today I continue to learn from masters and artists, try to improve my level and gain experience. I try different materials, study technology, the history of the costume, build patterns, decorate, observe the emotions of the characters, the expressiveness of their gestures.

At the moment of creation, each character is the best and favorite for me. And it doesn't matter at all that after a while it may seem different.

For me, details in paintings, interiors, and handicrafts are of great importance. When creating a character, I pay great attention to them.

When we see a holistic image of a work, a cursory glance is enough to answer the question: "like it or not." But if our gaze catches on to details, we begin to see what initially eluded attention. The door to an amazing, often fantastic world is opening for us.

What is an art doll for me? This is an opportunity not to adhere to frames and stereotypes. To implement ideas, we have a lot of artistic means at our service: shape, volume, color, textures of materials, dynamics, emotions.

Each work has its own world, the expression of the author's thoughts. The world is fabulous and magical. I am proud to be a part of it! And while creativity is in our hearts, our World will live!
