Nicole West began to engage in creative work from early childhood. The artist's mother, jokingly, claims that her daughter masterly gnawed animal figurines from bread toasts served for breakfast. Having received the first doll, sculpted from plasticine, from her daughter's hands, she said: "The next time you sculpt Aphrodite, it will come out much more perfect."

The artist creates her characters from polymer clay. Complements the images with textiles, feathers, beads and other decorative materials.

Each doll is unique, made in a single copy. The height of the figures is 16-23 cm.

“I was lucky that my parents trusted my muse so much that they allowed me to paint the walls in my bedroom on their own. I didn't know the creative limits.

I have no art education. Growing up, I took private lessons and university courses. In my opinion, they did not give me much.

For a long time I did not dare to sculpt a human figure, until, one day, I decided to make a present for my mother. She had a large collection of dolls. Then my mother invited me to try my hand at creating something special. And so, today I have been living in this magical world for over 20 years and I really love what I do. "

“I look back and am surprised to find how over the years my style has changed and my work has improved. Many of them I love, some make me laugh, others cringe.
