Forest fairies, sad clownwomen and burlesque queens are the main characters of the American artist.

Nicole West began to engage in creative work from early childhood. The artist's mother, jokingly, claims that her daughter masterly gnawed animal figurines from bread toasts served for breakfast. Having received the first doll, sculpted from plasticine, from her daughter's hands, she said: "The next time you sculpt Aphrodite, it will come out much more perfect."

The artist creates her characters from polymer clay. Complements the images with textiles, feathers, beads and other decorative materials.

Each doll is a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. The height of the figures is 16-23 cm.

Nicole West about myself:

“I was lucky that my parents trusted my muse so much that they allowed me to paint the walls in my bedroom on their own. I didn't know the creative limits.

I have no art education. Growing up, I took private lessons and university courses. In my opinion, they did not give me much.

I was hesitant to mould a human figure for a long time, until one day I wanted to give my mother a present. She had a large collection of dolls. That's when my mother suggested I try my hand at making something special. And so, today I've been living in this magical world for more than 20 years and I love what I do.

"I look back and am amazed to find that over the years my style has changed and my work has improved. Many of them I love, some make me laugh, others make me cringe.

I am proud of my work, my artistic vision and I get great joy, giving the world creative magic. "
