In this video I will tell you how to make a needle box

• We take the box you have and use it to measure, on a sheet of thick cardboard, a cover of the appropriate size. Cut and glue it to the fabric.
• Using glue, we connect the fixed part of the lid to the box. The result is a movable fabric hinge that allows the lid to open.
• We glue the decorative elements cut out of cardboard and the legs of the box with PVA glue.
• We make a lid handle from a thin wire. We glue it on the box.

Now you can start decorating and painting the box

• Apply white acrylic paint with a sponge to the entire surface of the box
• We make the decor of the future pincushion from fabric and satin ribbons.
• To give an antique look, using brown paint, with an almost dry sponge, paint over the edges of the box.
• The next step is to glue the needle bar to the box.
• We crochet a decorative inlay from a thread and glue it around the perimeter of the needle bar
• We glue decorative elements on the lid of the box and paint them using the previously used method.

Now the box can store important little things, become part of a doll composition or decorate the interior.
