The tradition of Christmas exhibitions Marina Tsolakovna Azizyan - an artist and curator of the exhibition The Light of Christmas, has been in existence for over 20 years.

The artist creates new work and invites colleagues to share theirs.

There are no special conditions for the selection of exhibits; the main thing is to maintain the magical mood inherent in the bright festival of Christmas.

These chamber-like, cosy exhibitions embody the old traditions of homes where people wait and prepare for a holiday, believe in miracles and good changes. This exhibition takes us back to our roots, to memories of childhood, to shared theatrical performances and handmade objects of creation.

The exhibition features sculpture, painting, graphics, ceramics, embroidery, sewing, papier-mâché and models made by St Petersburg artists from different generations.

"Christmas in St Petersburg wouldn't be complete if you didn't manage to visit the exhibition "A Tribute to Christmas". This event has been taking place for many years under the watchful patronage of Marina Azizian. Like the Christmas Fairy, she brings together wonderful artists, friends and collaborators, who generously share with the viewer their treasured memories, the traditions of their homes and their magical dreams.

There are Christmas trees, toys, wishes and pictures... A starry curtain or the lid of a precious box seems to be lifted, and the viewer is immersed in a story, in a fairy tale. Here begins a wondrous journey with the Magi, admiring the shining star, and tears of delight to behold a tiny baby... Dolls, bears, elephants, skaters, angels spin in a festive round dance and the subtle music of being sounds....
