ABOUT PAINTING AND DOLL'S DREAMS
The Tver Regional House of Folk Art has opened an exhibition of dolls and paintings.
"About Painting and Puppet Dreams is the imaginative and poetic title of an exhibition of works by artists and masters of puppetry that combines a creative experiment of the visual and object arts.
The viewers are presented with works by Dmitry Azarov, an artist who paints amazing pictures full of metaphors and allegorical meanings, and the union of puppeteers of the "Inspiration" folk studio (MBUK "Udomlya Centre for Culture and Leisure") under the leadership of Elena Simakina.
As the authors of the project point out, it is an exhibition about perception and understanding of the world, about the pursuit of eternal values - harmony, beauty and inner human freedom.
The exhibition features 65 paintings by Dmitri Azarov, including the series Dreams, Apraksin Yard and Landscapes of Vyshneye Volochok, still lifes and the collection The Artist's Transcaucasian Journey.
The works by Udomel artists are made in a variety of techniques and are distinguished by their high artistic and professional level. The curators, organisers and organizers managed to place all the works in the exhibition space, combining them into a large composition.
The exhibition features multi-figure collections with a variety of themes and subjects. The author's puppet studio presents new projects: "Scenes from the life of holidaymakers", "Alphabet", "Fantasies", "Three Spas", "Folk holidays", "Favorite literary characters". Puppet artists Natalia Grishukova and Zhanna Fomina take part in the exhibition.
The dolls create a special atmosphere of joy and warmth at the exhibition; they show the authors' professionalism and their ability to capture the peculiarities of material and spiritual life.
With their kindness and positive spirit, the works on show leave no adult or child indifferent.

The exhibition is open until 2 July 2022.
