A friend once told me that a creative person will explode if they don't create. I totally agree. For me, the process is the reward. I've been sewing since I was five years old and I've always been fascinated by giving fabrics three-dimensional shapes. My dolls come to life through paper clay faces covered in fabric, animated gestures and carefully crafted details. Each one has its own humorous story to tell. If they make you smile, then they have done their job.
