DailyDollNews' pick for December: the Art of the Doll 2023 exhibition
From 14 to 17 December 2023, in the heart of Moscow, Expocentre will host a unique event for all doll lovers - the Art of the Doll exhibition. This large-scale event, bringing together more than 1,000 masters from 26 countries, will present visitors with tens of thousands of amazing exhibits.
The exhibition organisers have tried to create a unique atmosphere in which each doll will tell its own unique story. In the exposition one will be able to see puppets of the shadow theatre of the East, admire "puppet glamours", enjoy industrial puppets of the Soviet period and get acquainted with traditional puppets of the peoples of the world. Mechanical, interior, theatre and cartoon dolls will not go unnoticed. And for connoisseurs of antique dolls there will be presented copies from private collections.
The founder of this phenomenal event is the Cultural Foundation "CUCKLES OF THE WORLD" and the organisers are Lana Letta, Olga Lakhina and Irina Myzina. These talented and dedicated people have brought together the most experienced and creative masters to show the world what magic the art of the puppet can create.
