To pay or not to pay?
Continuing the conversation about virtual exhibitions, one cannot ignore such an important aspect as the cost of participation.
For analysis, let's take popular offline exhibitions. As a rule, participation in them starts from 100 euros. The average cost is about 300 euros, depending on the exhibition.
You need to add to this amount the cost of train or plane tickets, as well as the hotel if you are a nonresident and the cost of eating out. Approximately about 500 euros accumulates.
The average cost of inexpensive dolls is 200-300 euros. It's good if you sell at least one. It's no secret that selling dolls is getting harder and harder now. But it may be that you will not sell anything at all. Do you think you can somehow compensate for the money spent? Most likely no.
Moving on to MuñecArt. I take it as an example of a virtual exhibition, since there is nothing else worthy.
Participation cost from 20 euros. We do not limit the number of works. If you want to increase the number of categories, then an additional category costs only 5 euros.
Let me explain how the cost of participation in MuñecArt is formed, it depends on the place in the show. The first 9 seats in each category cost € 50. The next 10-30 cost 35 euros, places in the show from 30 cost 20 euros.
We do not take any commission on sales.
Therefore, if your budget is only 20 euros, then no one will charge you a cent more.
Once you stay at home, you don't need to pay for the plane and hotel either.
Of course, it is not a fact that your work will be sold. But, you must agree, risking 20 euros, provided that new horizons open up for you and new collectors will recognize you, is not so scary as putting 500 euros on the line.
As you can see, the math is very simple.
Let me remind you that applications for participation in VI MuñecArt are in full swing.
