Exhibition of dolls at the forum in Gostiny Dvor.
The first art-industrial exhibition-forum "UNIQUE RUSSIA"
Exactly 190 years ago, with the support of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Empire, the first manufacturing exhibition in Moscow took place. The aim of the exhibition was proclaimed "... to have a useful influence on the industrial development of Russia ...". For 19 days the event was attended by over 125,000 people. The Emperor of Russia Nicholas I visited the exhibition with the whole family. He highly appreciated the quality of the products of Russian craftsmen.
Today we see the revival of tradition, the holding of a large-scale art event, popularizing traditional authentic products of artistic crafts and modern works of talented authors from all over Russia.
Thousands of exhibits, 500 masters from all, even the most remote corners of the country, are presented.
The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Arts, the Moscow State Art and Industry Academy named after S.G. Stroganov, the Russian Geographical Society, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Academy of Watercolors and Fine Arts of Sergei Andriyaka - this is not a complete star list of participants.
There has not been such a large-scale exhibition of painting, sculpture, architecture, arts and crafts, designer weapons, art dolls and antiques in Moscow for 200 years.
Festive events and project presentations are dedicated to a number of anniversaries and significant events of our country: from the 800th anniversary of the Great Prince Alexander Nevsky to the 60th anniversary of Yu.A. Gagarin into space.
