The idea belongs to art critic Olga Shustrova, Maria's mother, who, by the will of fate, is Roman's mother-in-law. During this difficult time, Olga also lost her husband, Alexander Shustrov, a mime artist.

В опустевшей квартире на Римского-Корсакова, где еще не был закончен ремонт после переезда художников из «дома-сказки» на Английском проспекте, где Роман и Мария жили и работали 10 лет, друзья расчистили заставленное материалами для будущих работ пространство, повесили полки, провели недостающий свет. Из галерей города, от нескольких коллекционеров вернулись кукольные скульптуры. И началась жизнь.
