Master Class. Removing the plaster mold from the doll's head
In this video I will show you how to remove the plaster mold from the head of a Fluo doll.
Before starting work, cover the doll's head with acrylic varnish.
Then we determine into how many parts we will divide the future mold for casting. Determine where the seams will be.
- We circle the joints-seams with an indelible marker and prepare plasticine for the formwork of the head
- Lubricate the part of the head with a fat cream, for further easy removal of the shape from it
- We mount the formwork from small boards and dilute the gypsum with water, in a one-to-one ratio. Fill in the form
- After waiting for the gypsum to harden, remove the formwork and plasticine
- We make locks with a spoon for tight fit of parts
- The next step, using plasticine, is to separate the lower part of the doll's head and repeat all the previous operations.
- For easy separation of gypsum parts, we use a solution consisting of: grated soap - 3 teaspoons, sunflower oil - 1 teaspoon, water (boiling water) - 6 teaspoons
- We repeat the steps and get a mold for casting, consisting of four parts
- Do not forget to form a place for the sprue, where, subsequently, liquid fluo will be poured.
The form is ready! Now you can make any required number of doll parts.
Enjoy your creativity!
