MK "Miniature teapots with their own hands"
In this video I will show you how to make miniature teapots for a doll composition.
The first step is to take out the deodorant ball and wash it with soap.
- To make the eyelet on the lid, I took a thin wire, folded it in half and gave it a rounded shape with a knitting needle, cut off the excess.
- With an awl I made a hole for attaching the eyelet.
- I took a thicker wire and rolled a handle out of it, for which I also drilled two holes.
- Similarly, I prepared a blank for the teapot spout.
- She fixed all the wire parts with a heat gun.
- I cut out the bottom of the teapot from thin cardboard and glued it.
Then she pasted over the entire teapot with pieces of paper napkin using PVA glue (polyvinyl acetate).
- Added volume to the spout.
I dried the teapot, marked the lid and glued the thread along the contour.
The next step is to add volume to the lid and handle.
After drying, we proceed to painting.
- Covered the entire teapot, entirely, with red acrylic paint. I applied white dots with the back of the brush. Highlighted the bezel.
- With the help of brown paint, I gave the kettle an aged look.
- Mixed white, brown and gold for a vintage look. Having removed the excess paint from the brush, I walked over the figure.
- I painted it with gold paint in the same way.
The red teapot is ready !!!
To make a blue teapot, I bent the wire into a handle of a different design and secured it with fabric strips.
While pasting over the blue teapot, I left part of the wire spout and the handle intact.
Ready-made teapots can be used as accessories for dolls. They will look great on a Christmas tree too.
Enjoy your creativity!
