Spring is a time of awakening of life, nature and feelings. Birds arrive, flowers bloom. The whole world is filled with sounds, smells and sunshine.

The exhibition "Spring Voices", which opened in the city of Pskov on 14 April 2022, is dedicated to this awakening of nature and the bright Easter holiday.

The main participants of the exposition: Creative Studio "Pskov Puppet House", uniting more than 15 artists and masters - puppeteers, existing in the city for 12 years; Pskov Polytechnic College; Gallery "Gertsena,6. Museum of My House", and private collectors.

The exhibition features around a hundred works created in various techniques: papier-mâché, dry felting, textiles, wood...

The wooden works are made by students of the Pskov Polytechnic College, furniture department, head Mikhail Egorov; author dolls Maria Vorobyeva (textile, mixed technique); Milana Fedorova (textile); Anastasia Leshina (mixed technique); Svetlana Fedorova (mixed technique based on a vintage postcard).

The exhibition presents a new trend - rumboxes, performed by Milana and Olga Fedorova.

The textile decorations by the designer Tatiana Danilova and the artist Elena Rastopchina make a striking impression.

Olga Kiseleva's cute characters made from polymer plastic decorate the exhibition.

Anna Nevar (Galina Lukyanova) presented compositions about bunnies in an interesting way. Entire stories were told in puppet illustration,

Theatre and Concert Directorate of the Pskov Region "Pskov Fairy Tales" presented an interesting project - video fairy tales played by the actors of the Pskov Regional Puppet Theatre Nikolay and Yulia Zubrilin.

In addition to the author's wares, the showcases feature the private collections of the Vorobyov-Nazarov family: antique and vintage dolls and violinist figurines (title photo).

The exhibition attracts many visitors every day. The colours of spring and the awakening of nature captured in the works of artisans invariably bring smiles to visitors' faces. A special pleasant atmosphere is created by the soundtrack of birdsong.

The exhibition can be visited until 15 May 2022 at the exhibition hall of the Pskov Regional Centre for Folk Arts (RCNT) at 10 Nekrasova Street, Pskov.
