Opening of the 20th annual exhibition of professional doll artists DollArt.ru-2022

On May 17, 2022, the exhibition "Threads of Time" was opened in the halls of the Moscow Union of Artists by the Art Dolls Section of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, the DOLLART experimental creative workshop of the Russian Academy of Arts, with the support of the Section of Art Design of the UIC and the Elena Gromova Gallery.

The year 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of the creation of the creative association dollart.ru. "Threads of Time is the twentieth anniversary exhibition of the creative association.

The project participants offer the viewer to address the problem of human perception of time as "a form of contemplation of phenomena" through "playing with dolls". The serious and the ridiculous, the great and the small, the evocative and the touching are intentionally mixed by the artists in an exhibition devoted to the phenomenon of time.

Times and mores, eras and styles, movement and cyclicality, change and permanence are essential concepts that artists refract through their creative vision.
